Fred's Pass
Rural Show (2009

NT 0820 The Darwin Dressage Club hosts a range of Dressage events ( usually held on the day prior to the first official open day of the Show). The Equestrian Federal Association Hack, Rider and Handler classes feature impeccably presented horses and riders. The Darwin Show Horse Society runs these events, as well as the Australian Stock Horse classes. The NT Harness Club sponsors harness Classes (horse drawn vehicles). These immaculately presented horses and carriages are well worth seeing doing their workouts. Show Jumping is a real crowd pleaser and The Darwin Show Jump Club always has plenty of events on the program. Western Performance features colourful displays of disciplined horsemanship as well as Led-In classes. The Northern Territory Quarter Horse Association runs these events. |

This event is held biennually and entrants need to be over 30 years of age. Visit their website for further information. |
